When it comes to working out, I think a good workout playlist goes a long way. It helps to keep you focused and motivated – and can even make you push yourself harder and harder.
Personally I love pretty much all kinds of music, but if I’m lifting weight then my music of choice is often hip hop, or metal. Because I’m going through a bit of an old school hip hop craze at the moment I thought it’d be fun to share what’s on my workout playlist (which, by the way, is called Get Yo’ Sweat On).
1 | Gangsta’s Paradise – Coolio
2 | No Sunshine – DMX
3 | Fuck Tha Police – N.W.A.
4 | Drop It Like It’s Hot – Snoop Dogg ft Pharrell Williams
5 | California Love – 2Pac
6 | Move Bitch – Ludacris
7 | X Gon’ Give It To Ya – DMX
8 | Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are) – Pras ft Ol’ Dirty Bastard & Mya
9 | Rollin’ – Limp Bizkit
10 | Straight Outta Compton – N.W.A.
11 | Still D.R.E. – Dr Dre ft Snoop Dogg
12 | Stomp – Murphy Lee ft King Jacob & Prentiss Church
All links go directly to the song on Spotify, incase there’s just a couple of songs you’d like to listen to – otherwise check out the full playlist and let me know what you think!
What’s on your weight-lifting workout playlist? Do you like listening to old school hip hop like me?
