Mother’s Day is sneaking up on us again, and if you’re after a last-minute gift – look no further. Lush have you covered with the gorgeous Lush Mother’s Day Collection.
We were lucky enough to be sent some products from the collection to try and review for you guys. I don’t know about you guys, but Lush hauls excite me so much. Something so exciting about having fresh, new Lush products!
MUM Bath Bomb* – RRP: $7.90 NZD
We don’t have a bath at home (I know, I feel so deprived!) so these are always saved for a special occasion. Whenever we stay at a motel, I always try to find one with a bath – just so I can indulge with a Lush bath bomb or bubble bar.
This one smells incredible, with a mix of sicilian lemons, sweet orange oil and rose scents. I feel like our Mum would love this as she’s a huge bath fan too.
Yummy Mummy Shower Cream* – RRP: From $13.50 NZD
I usually prefer shower gels, but I am enjoying shower creams just as much lately. If possible, they feel just a little more decadent on the skin. Yummy Mummy smells delicious! It’s a little fruity, a little floral – and just overall kind of amazing.
Honey Lip Scrub* – RRP: $11.50 NZD
Lush Lip Scrubs are amazing. They exfoliate the lips perfectly, smell great and even taste amazing. As the name suggests, there’s a lot of honey in this one. But there’s also peppermint oil and sweet wild orange oil, which make the scrub feel super refreshing as it exfoliates.
I’ve been through so many of the Bubblegum lip scrubs in the past, and I know for a fact that Mum is a huge fan of them – because she’s constantly stealing mine. I wouldn’t be too surprised if she ends up stealing this one too!
Pink Custard Shower Jelly* – RRP: From $8.50 NZD
The Lush shower jellies are so much fun, I’m sure kids in particular would love them. But even we enjoy how jiggly they are – you almost forget that you’re actually supposed to wash with them.
Despite playing with the shower jellies in store, we’ve never actually bought them. So this is a new experience for sure! The scent is gorgeous, which isn’t surprising since it’s a mix of tonka and lavender – and the fragrance does seem to linger on the skin for awhile afterwards.
To use, you remove the jelly from the tub, run it under water and lather up! Once done, you can pop it back in the tub. I can’t really attest to this because we’ve only just tried it, but considering it still looks new, I think it might be fair to say that it will last quite a while.
Scrubee Body Butter* – RRP: $16.50 NZD
Scrubee has created quite a buzz (hahaha) amongst the beauty community, and I’m not surprised. This in-shower scrub is a must-have for the colder months ahead.
The ground coconut shells and ground almonds gently scrub the skin, while the honey, shea and cocoa butters soak into the skin. The result? Crazy soft and smooth skin. So soft in fact, that you don’t really need to moisturise afterwards.
And the scent? Don’t even get me started! It smells sooo good! The only downside is that this isn’t a permanent product.
That sums up our little haul of the Lush Mother’s Day Collection. There are some really amazing products this year, definitely worth heading in store to try them yourself. While you’re there make sure you pick up something for your Mum!
Have you bought anything from the Lush Mother’s Day collection yet? Is there anything you’re wanting to pick up?
