If there’s one thing Lani, Cass and I have in common – it’s our obsession with Colourpop. And when there’s a sale on, that obsession goes into overdrive. Hence this post, and our Colourpop haul collab.
In all honesty, I am currently waiting on the Colourpop Birthday Bag haul I did – but today we’re not talking about that. We’re talking about the haul I did while Colourpop was offering free international shipping. YAY!
Colourpop Pressed Shadows – RRP: $5.00 USD
I have recently become somewhat obsessed with Colourpop Pressed Shadows (full swatch post still to come!), and couldn’t resist when I saw they were offering 3 for $10 on all shadows. I grabbed 10 of them, alongside 2 of the Super Shock Shadows.
The colours I chose are: Tiki, a matte warm yellow; Best Coast Scenario, a matte bright tangerine; Cut-Outs, a matte dusty coral; Team Captain, a matte medium olive; On The Fence, a frosty pink; Silver Lining, a matte dusty purple; Pinky Promise, a metallic wine; For Shore, a matte neon warm pink; Sandbar, a matte neon cool pink and Fair Play, a matte hot pink,
I can’t wait to start playing with these! So far the formula on most of them seems as buttery and smooth as I expected, but I can’t wait to see how they perform on the eyes.
Colourpop Super Shock Shadows – RRP: $5.00 USD
I have a bit of a love affair with the Colourpop Super Shock Shadows. They’re incredibly creamy and smooth, and last such a long time on the lids. They also blend out beautifully. The 2 shades I picked up this time are Bill, a light dusty matte mauve and Coconut, a satin bright teal.
Bill is not quite as pigmented as I had imagined, and takes a bit of work to build it up. Nonetheless it is a gorgeous all over lid shade. Coconut, on the other hand, is very pigmented and really packs a punch.
Colourpop Blotted Lip & Ultra Blotted Lip
I couldn’t resist trying the newest lip products from Colourpop. The Colourpop Blotted Lip (RRP: $5.00 USD) in Drip is a beautiful warm rosey mauve. The blotted lip formula is lightweight and matte, with buildable coverage. I am actually such a fan, it’s such a comfortable lipstick to wear – and is great for those barely there makeup days.
The Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip (RRP: $6.00 USD) in Doozy is actually a really similar shade to Drip, and is potentially my favourite liquid lip formula that Colourpop have ever come out with. It’s so comfortable on the lips, and has just the right amount of colour. It’s seriously beautiful, and I definitely want to get my hands on some of the other shades.
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip – RRP: $6.00 USD
Obviously part of the reason I invested in these is because they were on sale for 3 for $12. But I really do enjoy the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip products, and these are just as great as the other ones I have tried.
The colours I picked up are Knotty, a light warm taupe; Cheap Thrills, a dusty lilac and Little Weapon, a true orange red. I have only worn Knotty so far, but can’t wait to wear Cheap Thrills and Little Weapon too.
Colourpop x Sonya Esman Perks Of Being A Wildflower – RRP: $18.00 USD
This adorable little mini on the go collection from the Colourpop x Sonya Esman contains 4 mini multi stix as well as a mini lip primer. The 4 mini multi stix are a new creamy matte formula, that are designed to be used on the lips, eyes and cheeks. I have only swatched these so far, but can’t wait to start experimenting with them. I can’t wait to find out whether they work well on the eyes or not!
The 4 multi stix shades are: California Lovers, a pink nude; Empire State Of Mind, a peach nude; Toronto Terrace, a beige nude and St. Petersburg, a rust brick red. They’re such pretty shades, I’m so looking forward to using them.
The lip primer is so nice, and is great underneath any of the Colourpop lip products. It’s really nice to have a mini version of it to keep in my handbag.
Mini Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip
As part of their promotion, they were giving free mini ultra satin lips away with every $10 spent. I managed to get one of each of the shades: Strip, a warm beige; London Fog, a pinky red; Dopey, a muted pink; Frick N’ Frack, a rosy terracotta and Prim, a dark blackened red.
The Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip formula is the creamier, less drying version of the ultra matte lip. It’s just as beautiful, and almost as long lasting – without being transfer-proof. I love these mini versions so much, I wish they actually sold them individually.
So, did you pick up anything from the Colourpop sale? If you’re loving this Colourpop haul as much as I am, don’t forget to head over to Lani Loves and CassandraMyee and check out theirs too.
