By now you should know that not only am I a ColourPop addict, but I’m also a palette fiend. When I saw the ColourPop I Think I Love You palette, I knew I had to have it.
The ColourPop I Think I Love You Pressed Powder Palette (RRP: $16.00 USD) is a neutral-lover’s dream. Housed in beautiful rose gold/copper packaging, there are 12 gorgeous, mostly neutral shades that would suit all skin tones. There is a mix of both matte and metallic finishes, and already I can tell this palette will get a lot of use.
In the top row we have Bitter Better, which is a metallic soft gold; Bel Air, a matte cool taupe; Fancy Face, which is a bright red copper and Girls Bite, which is a metallic golden bronze.
All of these shades are very pigmented and easy to blend. Once again I have to praise ColourPop for their matte shades. They are so smooth and buttery, I love them. The metallic shades are just as smooth, and apply like a dream.
In the middle row you’ll find Howdy, which is a metallic red bronze; Rowdy, a matte warm ivory; My Treat, which is a metallic champagne ivory and Level Up, which is a metallic bright penny copper.
Once again these are all very pigmented, but Level Up has a chunkier texture than the other metallics in the palette. Still they are all very easy to blend, and apply smoothly.
The last row has Screw It, which is a metallic soft rose gold; Let’s Do It, a matte true black; Rule Breaker, which is a metallic bright yellow gold and My Type, which is a matte deep saddle brown.
I can’t complain about this row either! Even though Let’s Do It doesn’t swatch as nicely as the others, it applies a lot better to the eyelids. All of the shades are easy to blend, and apply effortlessly.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the ColourPop I Think I Love You Pressed Powder Palette. There’s a good enough range for you to be able to use this to create a lot of different looks, and the inclusion of a matte black shadow is really nice. You could easily go from day to night with this, and I think it’s what I’ll be taking with me when I travel as it’s so nice and compact.
Have you picked up the ColourPop I Think I Love You palette yet? Have you tried any of their pressed shadows?
