We reviewed 6 shades of the Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipsticks back in May. We were really impressed with the formula, and how pigmented they were. So needless to say, we were thrilled to receive another 6 shades to review for you guys.
The Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipsticks (RRP: $37.00 NZD) are inspired by New Zealand scenery. There are 12 shades in total, which means we now own them all. Yay!
These have been formulated with natural ingredients such as avocado pear, calendula flower, evening primrose seed, argan nut, beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil and Vitamin E. They’re almost good enough to eat! They are creamy, moisturising and have a subtle shine. Despite being so creamy, they last quite well on the lips – and are very comfortable to wear.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – Golden Bay Nectar*
The 6 shades we have today are Golden Bay Nectar, Dusty Sound Pink, Dragon Fruit Pink, Boom Rock Bronze, West Coast Sunset and Ruby Bay Rouge.
Golden Bay Nectar is described as a warm, bare shade with hints of peach and honey. It is very light, in fact I think it’s even too light for me. But for anyone with a lighter skin tone than me, this is a great “barely there” nude shade.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – Dusky Sound Pink*
Dusky Sound Pink is described as a vintage pink, and that is the perfect description. It’s a medium pink that would work with a range of skin tones. It’s one that I would probably get a lot of wear out of.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – Dragon Fruit Pink*
Dragon Fruit Pink is a beautiful vivid pink. This seems to be one of the creamiest shades I’ve tried, and is definitely one of the most pigmented. It’d be a gorgeous option for bold lip fans.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – Boom Rock Bronze*
Boom Rock Bronze is described as a bronze, but I would say it’s more of a brown toned pink shade. It’s a very pretty everyday colour. I feel like it’s one of those shades that would be great for the office.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – West Coast Sunset*
West Coast Sunset is a delightful red-orange shade that red lipstick lovers will enjoy. It’s really bright and cheery, but because it’s red you can get away with it for any occasion.
Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick – Ruby Bay Rouge*
If like me, you prefer a deeper shade of red then Ruby Bay Rouge is the one for you. It’s deliciously creamy and moisturising, and goes on very smooth and pigmented. Definitely a must-have for red lip fans.
