Countdown To Christmas: The Body Shop Every year, Camille and I eagerly await the Christmas range from The Body Shop. As usual, this year’s range doesn’t disappoint, and a number of products have made it onto our Christmas wish-lists.

We were lucky enough to be gifted a few products from the range, and they are absolutely gorgeous. We can confidently say that there will be something in this range to suit everyone.

The Body Shop Frosted Berries Shower Gel* – RRP: $17.50 NZD

The Body Shop Frosted Berries Shower Gel

If you’ve been following us for awhile, you’ll know how obsessed I am with shower gels. The shower gels from The Body Shop have always been my biggest weakness, and this Frosted Berries one is incredible.

Enriched with Cranberry extract from North America, the scent itself is enough to have you obsessed. The fact that it’s soap free, 100% vegetarian and foams up into a gorgeous lather is just a bonus. Fans of the Frosted Berries range from last year will be super happy to see it return, and don’t worry there’s a huge range of products in this scent once again.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Shimmer Mist* – RRP: $45.00 NZD

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Shimmer Mist

This year we also see the return of the delicious Frosted Plum scent, and one of the most awesome products in the range is definitely The Body Shop Frosted Plum Shimmer Mist.

Camille was obsessed with the Frosted Berries Shimmer Mist last year, and it’s no different this time around. The bottles themselves are so cool, the shimmer inside gives them the most amazing potion bottle effect. And the scent is delicious! Like most body mists in general, you can expect the scent to fade after awhile – but to be honest I like that.

If Frosted Plum isn’t your thing, you can still pick this up in the other scents: Frosted Berries, Vanilla Chai & Vanilla Pumpkin. And if you don’t have the need for a shimmer mist (let’s be honest though, you probably do), you’ll be thrilled to know that this scent is available in a range of other products.

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Softening Body Butter* – RRP: $38.95 NZD

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Softening Body Butter

Is there really anything better than a body butter from The Body Shop? I know I secretly hope to find one in my stocking every year, and I think I’m not alone on this one!

The Vanilla Pumpkin scent is the one I’m most excited for this year, because one of my secret desires is to smell like delicious baked goods. Unfortunately most vanilla scents are a bit too much for me, but this one is perfect. Technically I guess this scent is more Halloween and Fall inspired rather than Christmas, but that shouldn’t stop you from indulging in this gorgeous body butter.

If you’re one of the few people who haven’t tried a body butter from The Body Shop before, I have to tell you that you’re seriously missing out. They are deeply moisturising, easily absorbed and leave the skin feeling heavenly soft and smooth. There’s nothing quite like slathering this on after a shower, to make you feel a bit pampered.

Of course you’ll find the body butters in all the other holiday scents too, so why not pick up one of each and really treat yourself?

The Body Shop Glow For It Sparkling Body Shimmer Puff* – RRP: $35.00 NZD

The Body Shop Glow For It Sparkling Body Shimmer Puff

The Body Shop have teamed up with House Of Holland to bring us one of the coolest products in the entire seasonal collection: The Body Shop Glow For It Sparkling Body Shimmer Puff.

We all like to glam it up a bit at this time of year, and this is one product that is essential for those of us who love to sparkle. The body puff along with the very pretty shimmer inside, make for the perfect application of party-ready glow. Pop it on the collarbones and shoulders, and you’re good to go. It’s so nice, and would look especially good with a fake tan.

The Body Shop Complete Look Palette We Rule The World* – RRP: $49.95 NZD

The Body Shop Complete Face Palette We Rule The World

It’s only in recent years that we’ve become aware of the gems you can find in The Body Shop makeup line. Their honey bronzer and lip liquids are favourites, but we haven’t had much experience with the rest of the range yet.

The Body Shop Complete Look Palette in We Rule The World features pretty limited edition packaging from House Of Holland, and contains 3 eye shadows, 1 lip product and 1 highlighter.

The Body Shop Complete Face Palette We Rule The World

Overall I definitely have to say that the pigmentation on the palette as a whole is pretty good. Personally I wouldn’t really go for blue eye shadow on an everyday basis, but I do think it’d be nice for something different now and then. I think I would get the most use out of the highlighter in this palette though, it’s so pretty!

The Body Shop Metal Lip Liquid* – RRP: $19.99 NZD

The Body Shop Metal Lip Liquid

I mentioned above that we are big fans of The Body Shop lip liquids, but we’d never tried their metallic version before. There are 6 of the metal lip liquids in the range, and we have 2 of them: 028 Fuchsia Chrome and 031 Rose Gold.

The Body Shop Metal Lip Liquids

Both Fuchsia Chrome and Rose Gold have great pigmentation, with a metallic satin-like finish on the lips. These look really nice on their own, or layered over another lipstick. I really like layering Rose Gold in particular, as it’s such an awesome shade to use as a topper in the centre of the lips.

If you’re looking for a 100% vegetarian liquid lipstick formulated without petrolatum, mineral oil, gluten and carmine – then these lip liquids are definitely worth trying.

The Body Shop Star Stamp Liner* – RRP: $18.00 NZD

The Body Shop Star Stamp Liner

Who doesn’t want a star stamp liner during the holiday season?! This double ended liner is so awesome. On the one end you have a felt tip liner, and on the other is the most perfect star stamp. It’s for sure one of the easiest ways to take any makeup look and make it a bit more festive.

I’m quite impressed with this formula. It’s 100% vegetarian, glides on smoothly and so far I’ve experienced minimal bleeding with it on the eyelids. It also actually goes on quite black, which is surprisingly hard to find in a black liquid liner.

The Body Shop Star Stamp Liner

The star stamp is definitely the star of the show though. Because of the minimal bleeding, the star keeps it’s shape and looks really good. If you’re into making a bit more of a statement these holidays, I think this is a real must-have.
